How to change the .mht icon

I like to customize the icons on my system from time to
time, but there is one filetype icon I can never seem to
change: the webarchive .mht icon.

I have tried microangelo, e-icons, and several other
programs which seem to be able to change any other
filetype icon easily, but the .mht icon will never change.

Any ideas?

Open Registry Editor and navigate to:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mhtmlfile]

Backup the key by exporting it as a REG file.
After backing up the key, delete the mhtmlfile key from the registry.
Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools menu.
Choose Internet Options and select the Programs tab.
Click Reset Web Settings button.
Now, apply the custom icon to this filetype.
