How to change sent from default email address to another?

I have four email addresses under Outlook 2000 currently active on one PC.
I wish to change the address from which messages are sent from my default.
Ideally I would like to be able set that messages sent to particular contacts
are sent from a particular address. Can anyone help please.
 
Post your mail support mode.
The only way to change which account mail gets sent from in Corp/Workgroup
mode is to change the delivery order shown here: Tools menu > Services >
Delivery tab.
With IMO, the account used for sending email should be the default account
which you can easily designate in Tools > Accounts... You can change the
account on the fly by using "Send Using" or "options" to change it.
