How to burn Audio CD'S

This is my first time learning how to download and burn cd's, when I try to
burn them it always tell me that I have to pick downloads with lisence. Can
someone help me. What should I do and How can I do it I have a gate way PC
with "NERO STARTSMART' on it which also includes windows XP home edtion
please help me to catch up with the rest of america
