how to build winpe

Can any one tell me how to create winpe from normal windows xp
installation cd(with service pack 2). I know it can be done with
bartpebuilder. but how can
i do it without using bartpe. what are the file they extract from
installation cd.

Hello,

This is the wrong newsgroup, but either way look into getting a copy of the
Windows XP OPK (OEM Pre-Installation Kit). Any certified MS OEM System
Builder should be able to get a copy easily enough. If not, try searching
online for someone selling the OPK.

No, it can not.

What pebuilder builds is *NOT* WinPE, as it used to say in more than one
place on the website.
