How to apply bar codes to an Access label report?

We are preparing to do a mailing, for which the labels are derived from an
Access report, and would like to have postal barcodes on them. Could anyone
help me?

One possibility would be to implement Soundex. Access doesn't have it
built-in, but do a search in Google on Soundex and you'll get lots of hits.

The best way to print bar codes from a Access report is to use a bar
code ActiveX control.
The best bar code ActiveX control available is the TAL Bar Code
ActiveX control. You can download a trial version from complete with a
sample Access database that shows how to use it:

Or get a bar code font. I use a 3of9 font this way. Need to pre-pend and
append a *, if memory serves.
