How to 'associate' label in Report Header with Text Box in ReportDetail ?

I want to add a field to a Report.

I created the Text Box in the Report Detail and set it's Control
Source... no problem.

I cut the Label for the Text Box and pasted it in the Report Header...
BUT I get an error that the Label is not associated with a Control.

Can you associate a label in the Report Header with a Text box in the
Report Detail?

Or should I just tell Access to Ignore the Error?

What is the right way to add new Text boxes to a Report Detail and a
Label for it in the Report Header?

I do the same as you're describing when I create a columnar report, and I
always tell Access to ignore that error. I think the label and it's attached
control have to be in the same report section to attach a label to a
control. "Ignore the Error" is a misleading message, because you're really
just saying "Please stop warning me about this situation that MIGHT be an
error, but is not an error in this case".
