HOW TO ADD CHAPTER AND PAGE NUMBER TO EXITING TABLE OF CONTENTS

i HAVE AN EXISTING TABLE OF CONTENTS LISTING CHAPTERS. I WANT TO ADD ANOTHER
CHAPTER AT THE END. I TRIED ENTERING IT MANUALLY AND DID AN UPDATE. HOW CAN I
ADD THIS CHAPTER SO IT IS PART OF THE TABLE OF CONTENTS.

Have you triedright clicking on the Table of Contents and click on update
field or select the table of contents and hit F9 after you add the chapter?
You have to update the TOC. It doesn't automatically update.t

The title of the new chapter must be in the style being used for other
headings that are included in the TOC. After adding it, select the TOC and
press F9. Choose to update the entire TOC, not just the page numbers.
