How to add a new font to XPe?

Hi community,

how can I add a new font to the XPe system? This font is also not included
in XP Prof. Copying the font file to the windows\font directory is not
enough.

Did you add the registry setting?:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts\
Value Name: <font> (TrueType)
Type: REG_SZ
Value: font.ttf

If you create a component for you font add the above registry key and associate the component with the Font Prototype component in the details pane.

Where can I find the Font Prototype component?

I have only found a Shell Prototype component. Do I have to install an
additional package (at the moment XPe SP2 database)?

Software->System->Mutlimedia & Graphics->Infrastructure->Fonts
Make sure visibulity is set to 100.

The prototype is for use with a custom component.
