How to access the physical extra keys (beside the keyboard) on my notebook ?

My (Samsung) notebook has some additional keys beside the "normal" keyboard.
I read that to some of them I can assign some own functions.

How do I do that?

Is it required to install specialized drivers or is this a general WinXP function ?

You would need to consult the manual that came with the laptop, and
install the specific drivers provided by the laptop's manufacturer.

Yes. Go to your hardware vendor's (Samsung's) web site and locate your
notebook computer by model number. Then look for a driver downloads section
on the web page.

You need to install the keyboard drivers. If you don't have a floppy or cd of
these drivers then ask the retail from where you have brought this keyboard.
