netbook keyboard confusion

I recently bought a Toshiba netbook running WinXP SP3. When I installed
WordPerfect X3 and tried to use ALT-F10 to run a macro (WP's standard
keyboard shortcut for this purpose), I discovered that it wouldn't work;
instead it brought up some Toshiba function (the camera, I think). I checked
the Toshiba manual but could find nothing there.

Is there something I should be doing differently to get the effect I want
with this tiny keyboard? (I haven't experienced this issue with my large
notebook computer.) If not, is there a workaround for this situation?

Thank you!

Open the Toshiba program that was brought up by that key combination and got
into the settings or options for it. There's probably a setting to either
change the Hotkey or disable it.
If there is no option there, change it in WP to a different combo.

Thank you, SC Tom! I tried that, but there was nothing in the program itself
that would work. I finally called Toshiba support and got help. First I was
told to run msconfig to disable the webcam at startup, but I couldn't find
the program there. At that point, the tech support person left to ask
someone else. He came back and had me go to Device Manager and disable the
webcam there. That did it. I can now use the WP macro start keys as
intended. I'm relieved!

Doesn't seem like the proper way to do it, but, hey, if works, ok.
Thanks for letting us know the results.
