How many rules can a person set up in Outlook?

I am trying to set up multiple rules for various incoming emails. I seem to
max out at 7. Is this normal? Is there a way around it? I am having to
prioritize some rules in order to get others run and this is becoming
extremely cumbersome. I used to have the ability to have more rules. My IT
person simply says "You maxed out". Real helpful.

Hi Erica,

Outlook rules are not limited by numbers. Outlook has a 32K limit on the
size of the Rules cache. This is an architectural limitation and cannot be
overridden with a Registry hack.
