How long for printer deletion

How long should a client printer remain in the printers
list before it is automatically deleted?

Is there a way to lessen this time? I have users logging
in and out several times per day and it seems that their
printers hang around forever.

It shouldn't take all day, that's for sure. What service
pack are you running on the terminal server?
