Thank you to those who posted earlier about an unwanted restart. Before I
take my chances on this reinstall I would like to try and stop it. I put
the drive in another machine to save data and it all appears to be here.
What I was wondering is where the info to start setup is located and if I
could get rid of this marker (guess that's what to call it) and let it try
to boot into windows. If you didn't see previous post, I have an unwanted
XP setup going on, paused it and now the machine just insist (unrelentingly)
on having the CD back and I can't figure how to abort. Thanks, Dave

sorry meant unwanted reinstall

I don't think you can. If you can see the data in another machine, then
just copy it over to the other machine so you can burn it onto a cd-r.
Then put your drive back in the original machine and let the XP
installation continue.
