I just signed up for Newsgroup. I see many "listings" and many groups that
I do not understand how to access, or even figure out what they are.

This is obviously a very generic message. I am hoping someone will reply
and tell me where to go to learn how to use Newsgroup.

There are thousands and thousands of newsgroups to choose from. You are
using Outlook Express so here's a way to find newsgroups that interest you.
Right click on the news server's name in the left column of the Outlook
Express window. Click on Newsgroups. In the screen that appears, you can
type things like "winxp" or "windowsxp" or "xp"

As you type, the list below will shorten/lengthen to show matches to what
you have typed. When you find a group that you want to read regularly,
click on its name and click the Subscribe button.

That should get you started in finding the newsgroups that you want to read
on a regular basis. A good site for learning more about newsgroups and
Outlook Express can be found here:
