How does Outlook keep its data file from Comcast - not *.pst or *.

I've been using Outlook to manage my email and contacts from my Comcast
account. I changed profiles, not deleting anything. When I configured
Outlook, in my new profile, to my old Comcast account, everything was gone.

Outlook was configured to download and delete from Comcast and kept it on my
local drive. I searched for *.pst and *.ost accounts but to no avail.

Any ideas how the data is stored on my hard drive?

If using Windows 2000/XP, make sure you configure Explorer (and the search
under XP) to see hidden/system folders. (Outlook's default data storage are
is in the hidden/system area under \documents and
settings\<userid>\application data\microsoft\outlook and \documents and
settings\<userid>\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook.
