I see the newsgroups don't have a search function.
Wouldn't any web site site creator normally think of
including a search button on the newsgroup page? No? Oh
most would, but not if they work for Microsoft. Oh, I
understand!

Stop bitching and expend SOME effort in resolving your own problems. Apparently Mommy ain't around anymore to change your diaper for you. Give attitude, get attitude.

Go to Google Groups (http://groups.google.com) and search there. They even provide for an advanced search. Stop being a wuss using a browser interface to newsgroups. If you are using IE then you already have OE so use that! Or download any of the NNTP-compliant clients available of which many are free (e.g., Forte Agent, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.).

Take a deep breath ...

Usenet has nothing to do with Microsoft. And those who create web
sites have no relationship to Usenet either. Most search engines
will search newsgroups for topics. Sometimes the User has to select
that options as a search criteria.
