Google removes backspace to go back function in Chrome, heres how to get it back.

I use backspace a lot to go back, yes I have a button on my mouse by my thumb, but i like to use backspace too sometimes.

It should at least be an option somewhere... I use this all the time! Thank god for plugins .

I know tell me about it, I use it a lot despite having a back button on my mouse.


The reason for it is even more stupid than not giving us an option or at the very least a flag we could change to be honest!

I have a back button too. You have missed the point I think.

I like to use the backspace key on the keyboard to go back a page - same as pressing ALT + left arrow - which is what Google now want you to do.

But that sucks as I'm often sat with mouse in one hand and left hand on the backspace key - speed browsing, usually on Reddit.
