how do you uninstall SP4 when it is not listed in Add/Remove programs

We have loaded SP4 on all our pcs at work and have had
printer font problems on every pc and had to uninstall SP4
to slove problem. On a couple of machines SP4 is not
listed in the Add/Remove programs in the control pannel. I
see no uninstall program file in :\Winnt\servicepacks\i386
folder. any help would be greatly welcomed.

To go manually to the Uninstall go to:
C:\WINNT\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst and start "spuninst.exe" there.
(in this example c:\ = systemdrive). Be sure to have enabled to show hidden
Files (can be selected via 'Tools' -> folder Options -> View). If you still
cannot find it you might not have chose to archive the files and won't
therefore be able to uninstall SP3. You may as well want to try to search
for the specified folder using search.

Hello,
Sp4 will not appear in Add/Remove Programs under 1 of the 2 conditions
below:
1. You chose not to archive files when installing SP4. In this case there is
no way to uninstall SP4.
2. You installed some other software like a new version of IE or some IE
patch or some other fix from Windows Update AFTER you had already installed
SP4. that hid your ARP entry. In this case, you need to uninstall the fixes
in exactly the opposite order in which you installed them to get to the
point where you can find the SP4 entry in Add/Remove Programs
