Remove SP4

I recently installed SP4 on my Windows 2000 computer and
have since been experiencing problems. Every attempt to
locate a specific repairable cause has failed. I want to
remove SP4 and 'roll back' to SP3, but when I go to the
control panel, select Add/Remove programs and choose to
remove SP4 I get a list of programs that may not run
properly upon removing the service pack. All of the
programs listed ran fine with SP3, so my questions are:
Need I pay any attention to the list of programs that may
not run properly? Will any patches, etc. installed after
SP4 be removed also? If not, how can I tell which patches
(if any) were installed after SP4 and should they be
removed before actually uninstalling SP4? Are there any
other issues I may need to be aware of?
Thank you for any and all help.

IMPORTANT. When you first installed SP4 there was an
option asking if you would like to ARCHIVE FILES. If you
selected NO, you are out of luck. However if you selected
YES to ARCHIVE FILES you can follow the procedure you
originally chosen through Add/Remove programs. Microsoft
state that, If you choose to remove SP$, a dialog box
displays a list of the applications that you have
installed SINCE you updated to SP4. They do agree that
these programs installed after the SP4 might not work
correctly. Multiple descriptions for some application
might appear instead of a single generic description. You
should ignore these additional decsriptions.

Good Luck-Hope this helps
