How do you turn off the delete block confirmation feature in Word

When highlighting a block of text in Word 2003, my administrators have
activated a feature that when I press the delete key on the keyboard, the
text block will not delete until I press the "Y" Key. The message on the
status bar says "Delete Block (Y/N). I am unanble to find any way to turn
this off in the option menu or anywhere else.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two
boxes for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
