First - visit the support site for said flavor of VNC.
Second - why would you (as they don't exist) put in a negative port number?
I have posted this in that forum, just looking for some coverage here
as well. Is it not acceptable to speak of VNC here? It is the
"work_remotely" group.
VNC (or at least some flavors) have a base port number of 5900. When
you input a port number in the config interface, it adds to it. So, if
you put in 22 you would get 5922 as the actual port. Thus, because I
want to go lower then 5900, a negative port number.
As it turns out, I went with a different flavor and can now input the
number directly.
