How do you "segway" from slide to slide in cool ways?

I want cool ways for my slides to "turn" into the next slide during the slide
show.

Not a whole lot of "cool" things inherent to PowerPoint on Slide
Transitions. However, you might want to look into this:

A segue in PPT is known as a transition. That might help you if you're
checking the Help files.

PPT 2002 and 2003 have some transitions that PPT 97 and 2000 didn't--just go
to Slide Show|Slide Transitions and scroll down the list in the task pane.

As Bill mentioned, Crystal Graphics has some nice transitions, too.

And MVP Glenna Shaw wrote a tutorial on creating your own 3D transitions in
PPT. Definitely worth a look.
