how do you merge in 2003 like in word97

In Word97 there is an icon for merging a document with a data source.

There does not appear to be any such icon in Word2003. How, then is this
function accomplished? Most puzzling and frustrating.

Are you trying to create a mail merge? Or are you dealing with an existing
merge? If the former, you can use the Mail Merge Wizard (Tools | Letters and
Mailings | Mail Merge...). If the latter, see
