How do you make Microsoft Outlook work with Picasa or Explorer?

We just installed a new computer & switched to Microsoft Outlook from Outlook
Express. Suddenly I can no longer send pictures from Picassa or Explorer & I
feel like I've tried EVERYTHING to fix it, with no success.

Which e-mail program is listed as the default MAPI client?

Internet Options -> Programs

Just WHAT happens when you try to send pictures via e-mail from Picassa or
Explorer? There really is no error message?
 
I did get a message. However, after much frustration, I installed Microsoft
Office & re-installed it. Everything works great now. Thanks for responding.

In Picasa, Tools menu > Options > Email tab > choose Outlook as the
program to use to send pictures.
