Ok folks, who are using the 64-bit Vista?
How do you like it?
What do you dislike?
Do you plan on staying with it?
What hardware are you using and are there 64-bit drivers?

Thanks,
Marcus

Well, I have it on one computer. The rest are all x32.

Me.

How do you like it?

Very well BUT!!! I did my homework before changing to Vista 64 as my
only OS, I dual booted until I had all the drivers and software I
needed.
What do you dislike?

It contains a lot of things that I don't use but harddrive space is
cheap now to that's really not an important problem.
Do you plan on staying with it?

Yes, have for a couple of years now if you count the beta versions.

Scanner, printers, router. All have drivers, either 32 bit or 64
bit, that work in Vista 64 but that doesn't mean your hardware will
work, you'll have to check to see if there are drivers for your own
particular hardware.

Thanks for your input.

I am in between Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit

How do you like it?
So good so far, its identical to its 32 bit counter part, only issue is a
device driver thats not so stable, BVRP Mobile Phone Tools for my Motorola
c350 cellular phone.

What do you dislike?
See answer to above question. I wish there was a better embrace from the
industry for the platform itself, although 64 bit Windows has been around in
the consumer market for such a short time (XP Professional 2005), the pace
of development for Vista x64 I want too see mirror that of 32 bit Windows.
Its very good of course, but if you look at even services like Windows Live,
the Windows Live Suite was not compatible until RTW. So, I hope to see
consistency in support and release of applications and services at the same
time.

Do you plan on staying with it?
Yes, I am committed to the platform.

I like x64. Easy to use and more secure.

Dislike? Nothing so far save the rare incompatibility, easily overcome by
using the 32-bit version of IE bundled with it.

Staying with it? Well, so long as it suits my purposes. I'm not commited to
any particular Microsoft OS version.

Sempron, Asus mobo, ATI Radeon 9800 .. I'm not sure if all drivers are 64
bit but probably.
