How do you delete a design template that you have saved in Power P

I have saved a templete to the design templates and it keeps coming up in new
documents. When I select a design template to replace it a pop up box appears
saying the document has multiple masters. This is crazy when I'm only working
on the first slide of a brand new presentation. I have read through all the
help pages to no avail.

This question relates to Power Point but there is not PP discussion group
listing.

It sounds like you created a POT file with multiple masters. Try this:

Apply the master you are having problems with
Save As [new Design Template Name]
Delete all of your slides
View > Master > Slide Master
Delete the undesirable master slide(s)
Close out of master view
Save As: this time in the "Save as Type" drop down select Design Template
Close out of PowerPoint
Reopen

Did it work?
