how do you create a test presentation ex. choose a,b,c,or d

I am trying to create a ppt presentation utilizing multiple choice questions.
How do you set up slides that will allow you to click on and answer and have
it say yea or nay? Can this be done with PowerPoint?

Yes this can be done. You will need to use Visual Basic (VBA) to make it
work. David M. Marcovitz has many examples of it on his web site
http://www.loyola.edu/education/PowerfulPowerPoint/ Check Chapters 7 and 8
examples out. I have created three presentations that use multiple choice
questions, tracks the number of right versus number of questions and printed
out certificates. David will probably give you a more specific example from
his book "Powerful PowerPoint for Educators".
