How do we restore a removed program?

I accidently removed my nero burning ROM and now I can't
get it back.When I tried downloading it from a website it
asked for my serial number which i don't have.What should
I do to get it back?

Buy the program again to get a new serial number. Why didn't you save the
number?

Actually, I bet this came with your CD\DVD Burner? In this case, it is
an OEM product and sometimes does not require a serial number. In this
case, you are going to need the original CD or contact the drive maker.

If it is retail, you should be able to get your key if you registered
it. If you didn't, you are out of luck and will have to buy it again.
