How do I use BEx Analyzer in Excel

I need to down load from SAP via a token access to an excel work sheet with
BEx Analyzer. I get the error message "need to instal correct version of
Excel". The IT department at our head office has looked at my Excel (2003)
and said it is OK, and they do not know what is causing the problem. Does
another program need to be installed on my PC?
