how do i use a document ive created over and over ...

i have created a document.. how what do i need to do to be able to reuse the
document? I'm in the roofing business and it's basically a scope of work. I
would like to use the form and type what needs to be done for that customer.
I wold like to be able to use the same document for each indivudual person or
job. Its stored in my word but when i go to type on the page everything moves
like i am editing it? Help very fustrated.. Lisa
