How do I uninstall a USB printer?

I have a functioning USB printer and I don't see it anywhere in Device
Manager. IME, deleting the printer in Control Panel/Printers does
little more than remove an icon.

I'd like to return the system to the point where when I plug the
printer in, P-n-P recognizes it as new and can't find any installed
drivers.

look for your printer in imaging devices in device manager. Also, the
install disk should have an uninstall option, and so does add/remove
programs, which can be found in control panel. make sure you have pnp
enabled.
