How do i undo replication?

My database was replicated when syncronising with a briefcase. I didn't want
it to be replicated, so i have deleted the replicas, and now just have the
Design Master in the directory i want it. Unfortunatly, its all still in
Replica mode, ie little yellow icons by forms etc.

Also, data has been added since the db was replicated, and the Record IDs
(unique ids) for the new entries are 8, 9, or 10 digit numbers, some with a
negative sign. They seem random.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the yellow icons and any other features
of a replicated db, and sort out my record ids so that they are vagely
logical?
