How do I turn off "Searching from the Address Bar"?

Hi all,

How do I turn off "Searching from the Address Bar"?
I have ALREADY checked the box on the advanced tab in
Internet Options for "Do not search from the Address Bar"
but my IE6 SP1 Browser very annoyingly continues
to "search"!!
I have recently had to do a clean re-install of Win XP
Pro and I did not have this problem before this.

Has anyone got a solution?

First eliminate any scumware.

Hi Frank,

I have SpyBot installed on my PC and both update it and
run it regularly, so I know I'm free of Spyware etc.
What's the next step?

SpyBot S & D doesn't catch everything.
