How do I stop the screen going blank after several minutes inactivity?

Hi - hopefully someone can help with this seemingly simple question!

For my own reasons, I don't want my PC to sleep or hibernate: I need
to keep the monitor "live" at all times.

I've created a new power scheme, instructing the computer never to go
to sleep, never to hibernate, but it still goes to a blank screen
(with the occasional ball icon and upward-sweeping motif) after
several minutes activity.

What else can I do to ensure continuous viewing?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Sounds like the screen-saver is kicking in. You need to disable it.

- Right-click on the desktop and select "Personalize".

- Click on "Screen Saver"

- In the Screen Saver dropdown box, select "(None)"

- Click "OK"
