How do I stop PowerPoint charts from automatically sizing fonts?

I want to customize font types and sizes in PowerPoint charts. The fonts
look fine when active inside the chart. However, when I come out of the
chart the fonts are mashed/scrunched together. How do I get more freedom in
modifying the font types and having them look nicely when I come out of the
chart. Thank you!!!

Hi,

I wonder if you would be better off linking that inserting?

To stop autosizing of fonts in charts, under the dialog where you set
the font size and color and style there's a checkbox in lower left
that will be checked for Autosize fonts. Uncheck that and you should
be fine.
