How do I stop Oulook 2002 attaching unwanted GIF files to emails .

The GIFs look like the coloured bullet points used in Word. Sending them
does not bother me. It s the recipients who email saying that they cannot
open them or asking what they are, that consumes so much time.

Try Tools - Options - Mail Format. Select plain text. I think Rich
Text will also eliminate it.
