how do i stop a document opening up in markup form?

I have a document that whenever I open it up it is in markup form, i can
click it in view and then have it not shown in markup, however, whenever i
reopen the document it always opens up with markup, therefore, since it is a
resume, whenever i send it, the document includes the markup, how do i get
rid of this??

Your problem is the markup not seeing it. If you don't want anyone to see
the markup, you have to do more than just hide it. To do that, you must
accept all the changes.
