How do I set up an alert for my emails?

I need to set up an alert for my incoming emails, how do I do this?
 
In Outlook 2003, take a look at the Tools menu > Rules & Alerts > Manage
Alerts tab
 
Actually, look at setting up a rule that will do what you want. Alerts are
for other things...
