Email alert setting

How do I set email alerts to display until I dismiss them? I could do this
in Lotus Notes.......how do I set it that way in Outlook.

Version? You can create a rule to display a message when new mail arrives
and really old versions offer a new mail alert option in tools, options,
email options.

Create a rule with the "notify me using <message>" clause. This opens a
window that remains open until you close it.

We're using Outlook 2003 SP1

In Lotus Notes it didn't fade out.....it stayed until you closed it

So.......how do I "create a rule" to do what I want?
