How do I set up a second email adress within outlook

Hello, I want to have access to 2 email addresses witin outlook but cannot
work out how todo this. The Microsoft Web Page is inaccurate on its
intructions (they don't make sense!)

The follwing is from the web page. The last section - 'More Settings' is ok.
'Advanced Tab' is ok, but then it says' 'click on Add' - this doesn't make
sense as the Advance Tab takes you to 'server timeouts etc and there is no
'Add'

On the Tools menu, click E-Mail Accounts.
Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
In the list, click the Exchange account type, and then click Change.
Click More Settings, and then click the Advanced tab.
Click Add, and then type the mailbox name of the person whose mailbox you
want to add to your user profile (Outlook user profile: A group of e-mail
accounts and address books. Typically, a user needs only one but can create
any number, each with a set of e-mail accounts and address books. Multiple
profiles are useful if more than one person uses the computer.). If you do
not know the mailbox name of the person, contact your administrator.

PLEASE CAN YOU HELP??!!
Thankyou very much!

The instructions you have there are for adding another Exchange mailbox to
your profile, what do you want to do. Is it add another POP3 email account
or some other type of account

Hi there - no its not a new account its just an additional email address
within the same account BT Yahoo call it a 'sub account'. Have you any
ideas? Cheers

Sorry for the late reply, does this additional address have a different user
name and password from the other one!

Yes, user name is different. No password is not necessary. If needed can be
the same as other address.

This is assuming Outlook 2003, go to Tools || Email Accounts || Next || in
the list you should see your existing BTYahoo account and you will need some
settings from this, so highlight the account and select Change || take down
the details for the POP3 incoming server and the SMTP outgoing server then
select More Settings and then Outgoing Server Tab || make a note of what is
checked on this page, press Cancel and then Back. Select Add and check POP3
|| NEXT || fill out the details but with the new address and User Name etc,
(if there were any details on the original Outgoing Server Tab) then More
Settings and fill out any details on the Outgoing Server tab if necessary ||
OK || Test Account, hopefully all will have worked but I am worried about
the lack of password.

Thankyou very much for your assistnce. Yes this has worked. I have used the
same password again and now I am getting emails for both email addresses
through now. I have also created 2 folders and set up rules so the incoming
emails get sent direct to the correct folder so they don't get muddle up!
There is a way to have a whole set of folders (a repeat of what is basically
already in Outlook, so I have personal folders for email no.1 and personal
folders for email no.2) for the new email address (I've seen this done) but
can't remeber how! This way will do unless you have any ideas?? Can you let
me know? Thanks again

Sorry for the late reply, to create another set of Personal Folders File
then go to File || New || Personal Folder File but you will still need to
use the Rules Wizard to move the emails.

Hi there, i've tried this but it doesn't make up a full set of sub folders -
ie inbox, outbox, sent, delete etc. There is a way that emails can
automatically be sent to this pst but for the life of me I can't remember
how- and this is wothout setting up rules etc. any suggestions welcome!
