How do I set default font for Outlook in MS Office 2007?

I have tried and tried to change the default font in my Outlook and it
continually reverts back to Arial 10. I know that you can change font in
Styles and set new font as default but it still reverts to Arial 10. Very
frustrating...can anyone help me with what should be a simple question?
 
No, you are changing it on a per message basis. To change the default change
it in Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> button Stationery and Fonts...
