How do I send MS ACCESS file by E-mail

I tried to send a MS ACCESS file by MS Office Outlook.
However, the warning message
"This item contains attachments that are potentially unsafe. Recipients
using Microsoft Outlook may not be able to open theses attachements."

Please help me.

try changing the .mdb extension to something else. i usually change it to
..bak. make sure you tell the email recipient to change the .bak extension
back to .mdb *before* opening the file.

Zipping them may be a better idea: unless they've been encrypted, MDB files
usually compress very well.

i agree, Doug; but i've had instances in the past year or so where email
recipients have had even a zip file blocked when a .mdb file was inside it.
when i changed the file extension, it went through. beats the heck out of
me... :)

Many AV packages read inside zip files these days. When you change the
file extension, the AV package is presumeably not smart-enough to know
that it is a zip file - despite the fact that it could probably tell
that, by looking at the file header!
