How do I save email when i uninstall Vista?

Have LOTS of emails in many subfolders that I do not want to lose. Need to
uninstall and then reinstall Windows Vista.
What action is required to prevent losing them when I uninstall Vista? Thanks

You cannot uninstall an operating system.
You can run a repair over the top of your existing installation which should
preserve all settings or format & install Vista from scratch.
The latter is often recommended but seldom necessary IMO.

Why are you needing to do this, maybe we can help?

....but if you do decide to wipe your drive, just backup the contents of this
dir C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail

Remember to backup all of your other files too.

Export the messages before, import after.
(File / export)
You might also want to export your accounts. (Tools / Accounts / export).
