My sister has installed a new hard drive and needs to rewtrieve emails from
Outlook on her old hard drive which is now the slave. Her OS is WinME.

Hi,

For personal users who do not have an Exchange Server, Outlook data is stored in Personal Folder files (*.pst). Outlook uses Personal Folder files to store Information such as
messages, contacts, calendar, etc.

If her previous email is stored on a seconday drive, it will be stored inside of a .PST file. Please refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article to learn more about backing
up and accessing the Outlook data..

search for (possibly hidden) files on that drive with a .PST extension. you
can open them and copy items to the new Outlook profile.
The usual location for PST files is:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Profile name>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
