how do i retrevie emails from previous outlook

I just upgraded to new Outlook, but have lost all my old emails, tasks and
contacts. I have same email address, is there some way i can retrieve my old
stuff.

You don't specify what account type you use, but let's assume it is
POP/SMTP or IMAP. Both account types use a Personal Folders or PST file
to store your email messages or message headers.

Try to find that PST file (possibly outlook.pst), then open it with
Outlook. You may need to make hidden files visible before you start your
search for all *.PST files.
