Outlook - Past Accounts

I have an old PST file of emails from a former email account (old employer) I
want to read some of these old emails again, but can't find a way to open the
pst in my new email account.
Is there a way to retrieve them? Data Management says I do not have Access
Rights when I try to add the pst file to my current Outlook.

Where is the PST located? Is it on a CD? Copy it to the local PC and remove
the read only attribute.
