How do I restore the Recycle Bin?

Having upgraded deom 98SE to XPPro, I've discovered that I've taken a long
standing problem across with me.
In 98, my Recycle Bin had an error which I stupidly just lived with. When
emptying I got an error message saying, "Cannot delete 'filename', cannot
find the specified path. Make sure you typed the right path."
Having since discovered the hidden INFO file may need deleted and replaced
or that the bin is corrupted and needs restored, I'm kicking myself that I
didn't repair before upgrading. However, the sad fact is the bin doesn't work
under XP now as well unless I use the '"Disk Cleanup" utility. It also means
that my "Unerase" function in Norton Anti-virus doesn't work either.
Can some please advise on how to repaire/restore the Recycle Bin in XP as
the Knowledge Base only has instructions for 98/95?

TIA

Cheers! It seems to have worked. A lot of re-installing to do - but it worked!!
