How do I reset Word opening template?

I'm using XP and Word 2003. Lately, when I've opened a blank document I've
noticed that it autmatically opens with the Bold and Italics keys depressed
and the font colour in white. After I've highlighted the cursor and pressed
Bold and Italics and pressed the font colour to black, it is reset as nornmal
(as I would expect). I haven't intentionally changed any of the template
setings. The same thing applies when I open a Text Box.

Go to Format | Font, change the color to Auto and the font to Regular, and
then click Default... and answer yes.
