How do i replace the slide design with a background?

I need help!!! I got this project that is due tommorow. When i was puting a
slide design on a slide i acidently pushed apply to all slides. Well two of
my slides had backgrounds that i had chosen and i can't figure out how to
change them back.

How did you choose the backgrounds? Are they photos or some kind of image
files you selected? Is the PowerPoint file still open file still open? If
it is, did you save after you did this?
