How do I remove the pictures of folder jpg contents?

I store pictures in folders, and some of
these pictures appear on the folder icon in
explorer.

How can I stop this happening?

Please help, Frank

Right click on the folder, choose Properties, click on customize tab, click
on 'Restore Default'?

Thanks, but this dose not seem to work.
Perhaps 'default' refers a selection of the
folders contents.

In the "Customize" dialog, you may choose another picture.

-or-

Place a dummy file named "folder.jpg" in that folder.

Try: Open the View menu - untick "Thuymbnails" and tick one of the other
"views" like Icon or Folders.... HTH
